The 14th Annual Heavy Oil Technical Symposium Banquet in pictures

Pat Carlson, guest speaker at the Wednesday night banquet, gave a thought provoking address on "The Future of Heavy Oil" Bob Mottram (right) thanks former Section Chairman Kirby Hayes, for his many years of dedicated service to the Lloydminster Section and the Heavy Oil industry in general. Bob Mottram (left), Lloydminster Sectiion Chairman, thanks guest speaker Pat Carlson Lloydminster Section Secretary-Treasurer Irene Regner (right) presents a cheque for $10,000 to Wendy Plandowski of Lakeland College. The funds will be used to purchase an Atomic Absorption Spectrometer for the new science lab in the College's new wing. There was a large turnout to the Banquet, held in the Best Western Crown Ballroom.
