The 14th Annual Heavy Oil Technical Symposium in pictures

Guest speakers (here Maurice Dusseault) challenged delegates to use the industry's innovative spirit to meet and beat the challenges of the 21st Century. Another great crowd for the 2007 version of the Petroleum Society Heavy Oil Technical Symposium in Lloydminster. Coffee time was always a popular chance to mix and mingle. The Sponsors' Booths were popular spots during the Symposium breaks. Members of the Section Board, present and past (here Kirby Hayes) introduced guest speakers, encouraged audience questions, and kept everything on schedule. The Registration Crew, capably lead by Irene Regner (centre) greeted everyone, handed out registration packages, and generally made sure the Symposium ran smoothly.
